- The Tamil Nadu government signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹5,980 crore to promote semiconductor and aerospace manufacturing.
- MinebeaMitsumi will invest ₹1,980 crore to establish a manufacturing and research and development (R&D) centre in Tiruvallur district.
- The facility at Mahindra Origins Industrial Park will manufacture Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT), Integrated Circuits (IC), motors, and sensors.
- Another MoU was signed with Aequs Group to support aerospace manufacturing in the State.
