- The naming reflects a shift from power to service, emphasizing governance as seva (service) rather than satta (power).
- Other recent renaming includes Raj Bhavans to Lok Bhavans, Rajpath to Kartavya Path, and the PM’s residence road to Lok Kalyan Marg.
