  • Niokolo-Koba National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve located in southeastern Senegal.
  • The park spans about 913,000 hectares and is part of the Sudanian savanna ecosystem.
  • The park was previously listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Danger in 2007 but was removed from the danger list in 2024 after conservation efforts.
