- The NTB is headquartered in Nizamabad, Telangana, and functions under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
- The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will establish the turmeric testing laboratory in Erode.
- ICAR will also work on developing new turmeric varieties with high curcumin content.
- The government plans to promote turmeric marketing through e-commerce platforms and support value addition, storage, and processing for better farmer income.
