- Union Minister for Women and Child Development launched the PANKHUDI portal to improve ease of living for women and children in India.
- The portal is an integrated digital platform that enhances coordination, transparency, and stakeholder participation in women and child development initiatives.
- It covers key areas such as nutrition, health, early childhood care and education, child welfare, and women’s safety and empowerment.
- The portal will strengthen services through over 14 lakh Anganwadi centres, 5,000 child care institutions, and nearly 800 One Stop Centres.
