  • Pratibha Setu is rebranded and upgraded version of the earlier Public Disclosure Scheme (PDS).
  • The PDS was launched in August 2018 following a decision by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
  • Under the original scheme, the UPSC began publicly sharing the biodata of non-recommended but willing candidates.
