- Project Vijayak of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) marked its 15th Raising Day on September 21, 2025, in Kargil, Ladakh.
- Over 15 years, the project built and maintained more than 1,400 km of roads and 80 major bridges across Ladakh.
- It achieved the reopening of the strategic Zojila Pass within 31 days after winter closure in April 2025, a record for high-altitude connectivity.
- The Rs 1,200 crore expansion plan includes widening roads, building tunnels and bridges, and adopting advanced construction technologies.
