- Prime Minister inaugurated the Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI) facility in Hyderabad, Telangana.
- The facility is dedicated to Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion (LEAP) engines.
- These engines power Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
- SAESI is one of the largest global aircraft engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities and the first global engine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operation in India.
