- The second edition of the United Nations (UN) Women’s SheLeads II programme was held in New Delhi.
- The UN Women India Country Office organises the workshop to build capacity in women’s public and political leadership.
- The programme follows the passing of the Women’s Reservation Act 2023, which mandates a 33 percent reservation for the women in the Lok Sabha and the State Legislative Assemblies.
- SheLeads aims to equip the women with skills and networks to contest future national and state elections and strengthen gender equality in governance.
