- This provision has recently extended for three years from June 5, 2025.
- The State government has issued the necessary orders in this regard, amending the Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act, 1947.
- It exempted shops and establishments that employed 10 or more persons from certain sections of the Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act, 1947.
