- CSIR-AMPRI (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute) designed and developed a SODAR (Sound Detection and Ranging) system facility.
- The facility was inaugurated at the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi.
- SODAR system data will be shared for better weather forecasting and climate studies.
