Stock Market investors from Gujarat

Gujarat became the third state in India to have more than one crore registered stock market investors.
National Stock Exchange (NSE) data shows Gujarat joins Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh in crossing one crore investors.
These three states hold 36% of India’s total investor base.
India has nearly 11.5 crore registered investors as of May 2025.
North India leads with 4.2 crore investors; West India has 3.5 crore investors.
South India has 2.4 crore investors, and East India accounts for 1.4 crore investors.
South India grew by 22%, and West India by 17% over the last year.
