- India successfully test-fired the nuclear-capable Agni-4 Medium-Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Odisha, under the Strategic Forces Command (SFC).
- Agni-4 is a two-stage, solid-fuel missile with a range of around 4,000 km and a payload capacity of about 1,000 kg.
- The 13th BRICS Education Ministers’ Meeting was held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, under India’s BRICS Chairship 2026.
