- The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has now launched the Training of Trainers (ToT) programme under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
- It focuses on enhancing Panchayats’ capacity to generate Own Source Revenue (OSR).
- This program was implemented under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA).
- It will be conducted in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.
- It aims to strengthen the grassroots governance through financial empowerment of Panchayats.
