CUTS International launched the TRaNJA initiative to promote reform of the WTO.
TRaNJA stands for Trade Not Just Aid: Winners and Losers in the World Trade Organization.
The initiative aims to strengthen the WTO’s role as a fair and rule-based global trading system.
The project focuses on evidence-based dialogue, promoting inclusive trade, addressing digital trade and climate issues, and enhancing South–South cooperation.
Around 70% of global trade still operates under WTO rules, highlighting the importance of reform.
