The Tamil Nadu government is expanding support for women entrepreneurs through the Vetri Magalir Thozhilmunaivor Membattu Thittam across the State.
Eligible women entrepreneurs can get loans of ₹10 lakh to ₹5 crore through the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC).
Loans are offered at 9.95% annual interest on a diminishing-balance basis, with repayment up to 9 years.
The scheme is being implemented across all 234 Assembly constituencies of Tamil Nadu.
MLAs have been asked to identify 10 promising women entrepreneurs from each constituency.
