- Kerala Chief Minister released the Vision 2031 document.
- The state aims to achieve an economic output of $50 billion and create 500,000 high-value jobs.
- Four strategic missions were launched:
- Kerala Artificial Intelligence Mission (K-AIM)
- Kerala Semiconductor Mission
- Kerala Future Technology Mission (KFTM)
- The Future Corporation (TFC).
- The state plans to train 1,000,000 citizens in artificial intelligence and introduce a Kerala AI Bill of Rights by 2030.
- Kerala aims to establish 250 companies in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) sector and achieve 100% digital delivery of all government services.
