Vostok Oil Pipeline

Russia began the first oil flow through the Vostok Oil trunk pipeline.
The pipeline carries crude to the Sever Bay (Bukhta Sever) terminal in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia.
Vostok Oil is a major Arctic oil project led by Rosneft.
The project has an estimated resource base of about 7 billion tonnes of liquid hydrocarbons.
The pipeline system connects the Vankor and Payakha oil fields with the coastal export terminal.
The project is linked to oil transportation through Russia’s Northern Sea Route.
