- Chad topped in the list and Bangladesh ranks second, Pakistan third, and India fifth.
- Nordic countries – including Iceland, Finland, and Sweden – feature prominently among the cleanest.
- The Bahamas topped the list of least polluted countries in 2024.
- In the Southern Hemisphere, New Zealand and Australia also rank among the least polluted countries.
