- Developed by Israel’s Rafael, the X-Guard mimics the Rafale’s radar and electronic signatures to mislead threats.
- Pakistan Air Force’s J-10C fighters targeted these decoys instead of real aircraft, causing false shootdown claims.
- The system works with Rafale’s SPECTRA electronic warfare suite to provide layered defence against advanced missiles.
