- The first gallery of the Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum is expected to open by the end of 2026.
- It is being developed by the Ministry of Culture under the Central Vista Redevelopment Project.
- It will replace the existing National Museum and will be located in the North Block and South Block buildings in New Delhi.
- The museum will showcase 5,000 years of Indian civilisation and display artefacts such as Indus Valley objects, Gupta-period sculptures, and Chola bronzes.
- India and France are jointly developing the museum, using France’s expertise in museum design and management.
