- A new butterfly species named Zographetus Mathewi has been discovered in the forests of Kerala’s Western Ghats.
- The species belongs to the skipper butterfly family (Hesperiidae).
- Zographetus Mathewi is the 15th known species in its genus and the fifth recorded from India.
- The butterfly was named in honour of Indian entomologist George Mathew.
