- India has reiterated its firm support for the Pact for the Future and its key annexes - the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations.
- It was made during the third informal dialogue to review the agreement.
- The informal dialogue offered the UN member states a platform to exchange ideas ahead of the 2028 review of the Pact.
- At the Summit of the Future on 22 September 2024, the world leaders adopted the Pact for the Future and its annexes.
- This Pact along with its annexes, the Global Digital Compact and a Declaration on Future Generations, is designed to address 21st-century challenges.
