128 officers to receive Anna Medal in birth anniversary of C.N.Annadurai

Recognising the outstanding devotion to duty of uniformed service officers, 128 officers will receive ‘Anna Medal’ this year.
Every year, these medals are announced on September 15, the birth anniversary of C N Annadurai, former chief minister.
Officers from the police, fire and rescue services, prison, home guards and finger print bureau personnel are eligible for a bronze medal and a grant according to their rank as specified in the Medal Rules.
