25th Statehood Day – Jharkhand

Jharkhand was formed as India’s 28th state on 15 November 2000, carved out of southern Bihar.
Its statehood Day is celebrated as Rajyotsav.
The state is rich in mineral resources, including iron ore, coal, copper, bauxite, mica, uranium, and kyanite.
Jharkhand's capital, Ranchi often called as “City of Waterfalls".
