- The 12th edition of Aero India 2019, the International Aerospace and Defence Exhibition was inaugurated at Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
- The mega event was organized biennially.
- The Aero India 2019 will be held for 5 days from February 20 to 24 and each day of the 5-day air show would have a special theme.
- Day one would be Inaugural Day
- The theme for day two is Start-Up Day
- Day three is Technology Day
- Day four would be Women’s Day and
- Day five will be Public Day
- During this event Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched a Coast Guard offshore patrol vessel (OPV) of the Goa Shipyard Limited, a public sector undertaking.
