- Annual garment exports from Tiruppur and Coimbatore districts in the 2024-25 financial year touched ₹45,000 crore.
- The direct garment exports from Tiruppur were almost ₹40,000 crores, and those from Coimbatore district were worth ₹5,000 crores.
- This was 20% higher than the previous year.
- Currently, Tiruppur and Coimbatore districts account for 68% of the country’s knitted garment exports.
