Bangladesh Election and Referendum

Bangladesh will hold its 13th general election on February 12, 2026.
A national referendum on the July National Charter will take place on the same day.
The July National Charter proposes amendments to the 1972 Constitution of Bangladesh.
The charter was adopted in October 2025 and signed by the National Consensus Commission and more than 25 political parties.
