- The Ministry of Women and Child Development Ministry released the performance of states & UTs under the maternity benefit programme named Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY).
- Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh topped the charts as the best performing states.
