- Union Ministry of Finance and Corporate Affairs launched the fourth edition of Business Reforms Action Plan ranking of states.
- Tamil Nadu moved up one spot, to get to the 14th position in ease-of-doing-business ranking 2019, from the 15th place in 2018.
- Andhra Pradesh topped in the list and followed by Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand.
- The plan was released by DPIIT-World Bank.
