- The Scientists have identified a new species of damselfly, Caliphaea Sinuofurcata, from Arunachal Pradesh.
- The species is commonly named the “Bearded Bronzeback”.
- This discovery marks only the second species of the genus Caliphaea recorded in India.
- The other species Caliphaea confuse was described over 165 years ago.
