- The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has developed its indigenous charger for electric vehicles.
- ARAI has developed indigenous technology for EV charger called AC001.
- It has been taken up for manufacturing and promotion by the Bharat Electronics.
- ARAI is also setting up its new centre in Takwe, at Maharashtra.
