- Chhattisgarh Government has banned use of chlorinated plastic and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC).
- The state government also has banned manufacture, storage, import, sale, transport, advertising and use of such plastic-borne goods
- It is done with an objective to conserve and improve the environment.
