Complaints Against Judges in India

The Union Government informed Lok Sabha that 8,630 complaints were received against sitting judges in the last 10 years.
Complaints relate to corruption, sexual misconduct, and other serious impropriety against judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts.
Complaints against judges are handled under the “in-house procedure” by the Chief Justice of India and the Chief Justices of High Courts.
Complaints submitted through CPGRAMS (Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System) are forwarded to the concerned judicial authorities.
