Dehing Patkai Butterfly Diversity

A total of 165 butterfly species, including 37 endangered species, have been recorded in Dehing Patkai National Park, Assam.
Dehing Patkai National Park covers 234.26 sq km across Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts of Assam.
It is one of the remaining stretches of Assam Valley Tropical Wet Evergreen Forests.
The Park forms the core of the 937 sq km Dehing Patkai Elephant Reserve.
