	- In a bid to increase voter turnout in 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission of India (EC) has tweaked its usual voter outreach.

	- It aims to focus on 10 large states where the turnout was below or slightly higher than the 2019 Lok Sabha election national average.

	- It also focusses on around 250 constituencies where the figures were below their respective state averages.

	- This plan is expected to increase voter participation from the average of 67.4% in 2019.
