- The Tamil Nadu Government released Electronics and Hardware Manufacturing Policy.
- The main aim of the policy is to increase the electronics industry output to 100 billion USD by 2025.
- The State will contribute 25% of India’s total electronic exports of the country after implementation of the policy.
- The policy is aligned with the National Electronics Policy of 2019.
- The policy has identified districts under three categories.
