- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has launched two schemes – 'Uzhavarai Thedi and Eliya Aalumai (SimpleGov).
- The Uzhavarai Thedi Velanmai Thittam will be implemented in all 17,116 revenue villages of Tamil Nadu within a year.
- The team will include Block Level Officers of all departments, animal husbandry, co-operation and Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
- The team will meet the farmers and explain the field protection, area, cultivation and yield.
- It is planned to conduct this camp twice a month in selected villages.
- Similarly, through the Eliya Aalumai scheme, the government will also be able to effectively improve the functioning of the government and provide the required services to the citizens online.
- Under this scheme, the Sanitary certificates, General Building licenses, Hostel licenses for working women, the licenses for women's homes, the property value certificates, the old age home licenses, the conduct certificates, and no objection certificates for government employees to get passports can be obtained.
