- After 100 years a rare orchid species Eulophia obtusa has been rediscovered from Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh.
- It is also known as ground orchid.
- In India, the species is listed as “critically endangered” in the IUCN Red List of endangered species.
