- Delhi’s Firoz Shah Kotla stadium is set to be renamed as Arun Jaitley Stadium after the former Finance Minister, who passed away last month.
- The stadium is renamed after 14th century fortress built by Firoz Shah.
- He was also the first ruler to build a fortress next to river Yamuna.
- He created a multi-lingual, multi-cultural space. Autobiography: Futuhat-i-Firozshah.
- Arun Jaitley was the former president of Delhi Cricket Association.
