First Rare Earth Minerals Exploration Licence – Rajasthan

It is awarded to the Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (CMPDI) under the national critical minerals framework.
Geological studies indicate the presence of Lanthanum, Cerium, Praseodymium, and Neodymium in the exploration blocks.
Rare Earth Elements are widely used in electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy, defence, aerospace, semiconductors, electronics, and telecommunications.
