First State-Level Tiger Corridor

Madhya Pradesh will develop the country’s first state-level, multi-national park tiger corridor.
The corridor is being created in coordination with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Public Works Department (PWD).
It will include underpasses in forest areas, slow-traffic zones, and wildlife-safe designs to balance tiger movement, tourism, and connectivity.
The corridor aims to promote eco-tourism and strengthen the local economy.
