- The Reliance Power’s Ultra Mega Power Project’s (UMPP) in Sasan area of Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh fly ash dyke collapsed recently.
- Popularly known as Flue ash or pulverised fuel ash, it is a coal combustion product.
- It is composed of the particulates that are driven out of coal-fired boilers together with the flue gases.
