- It also confirming long-standing allegations by human rights organizations and genocide scholars.
- The Commission found “reasonable grounds” for four of five genocidal acts:
- Killing members of a community,
- Causing serious bodily and mental harm,
- Actions aimed at destroying the group, and
- Preventing births.
- The UN panel held Israeli authorities at the highest levels responsible for orchestrating a genocidal campaign against Palestinians in Gaza.
- Israel, founded by survivors of the Holocaust, now faces global isolation due to its actions, continuing ground offensives, and disregard for international law.
