The UN Commission of Inquiry, after a multi-year investigation, concluded that Israeli authorities have committed genocide in Gaza.
It also confirming long-standing allegations by human rights organizations and genocide scholars.
The Commission found “reasonable grounds” for four of five genocidal acts:
Killing members of a community,
Causing serious bodily and mental harm,
Actions aimed at destroying the group, and
Preventing births.
The UN panel held Israeli authorities at the highest levels responsible for orchestrating a genocidal campaign against Palestinians in Gaza.
Israel, founded by survivors of the Holocaust, now faces global isolation due to its actions, continuing ground offensives, and disregard for international law.
