Global Greenfield Investment Share

The United Nations Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Trade and Development Report 2026 reported India’s investment share and economic growth projections.
India accounted for 5.7% of global greenfield investment during 2020–2025, compared with China’s 2.8%.
India implemented 1,416 industrial policy measures during 2008–2021 and 707 during 2022–2025.
India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth is projected at 7.3% in 2026 and 6.8% in 2027.
India’s household consumption growth is estimated at 6.9% in 2026 and 5.6% in 2027.
