Green Hydrogen Valley Declaration 2025

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has unveiled the Green Hydrogen Valley declaration.
It outlines a comprehensive roadmap for building India’s largest ecosystem for green hydrogen production, research, and application.
The policy aims to make Andhra Pradesh a pivotal hub in India’s green economy transition.
A central pillar of the declaration is the creation of an indigenous supply chain.
It will be 60% of the electrolyser components and storage solutions to be locally manufactured by 2030.
The Green Hydrogen Valley will feature India’s first Integrated Green Hydrogen Skilling Ecosystem.
A major target is to create 5 gigawatts (GW) of the electrolyser manufacturing capacity by 2029.
Electrolysers are essential for producing green hydrogen by splitting water using renewable electricity.
