- The National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) along with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has launched India’s first web repository documenting air quality studies done in the last 60 years.
- It is named as IndAIR (Indian Air quality Studies Interactive Repository).
- The aim of the project is to make air quality research available to everyone.
- It includes all major legislations in the country dating back to 1905.
- CSIR-NEERI is a research institute created and funded by the Government of India under the Ministry of Science & Technology.
- It was established in Nagpur in 1958.
