India–U.S. Trade Deal 2026

  • India and the U.S. finalised a major trade understanding in 2026 to reduce tariffs and expand bilateral trade.
  • India has agreed to import goods worth about 100 billion US dollars annually from the United States for the next five years.
  • The United States has agreed to reduce tariffs on Indian goods from 50% to about 18%.
