- This mobile laboratory was constructed under the scheme Atma Nirmar Bharat in a record time of 8 days.
- It was built with the assistance of Department of Biotechnology.
- It is constructed with a safety level of BSL-2 (Bio Safety Level 2).
- The lab can perform 50 RT-PCR tests per day and around 200 ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay) tests per day.
- ELISA is designed to detect soluble substances such as antibodies, proteins and hormones.
