- The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) produced 56,681 million units of electricity during FY 2024–25.
- This was the first time NPCIL crossed 50 billion units of power generation in its history.
- The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) confirmed this as the highest annual nuclear power output so far.
- The nuclear power generation helped avoid about 49 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
